About Meditation with me…..

I offer one-to-one and group meditation sessions using a variety of techniques.

Meditation and guided imagery or visualisation are valuable ways to relax, and access inner wisdom, resource and insight. I often use meditative techniques to help people find calm inner spaces and connect to ideas that aren’t always available to us in our fully awake states. Meditation is not the same as hypnosis, and you are awake and conscious throughout. I use my voice to guide you into a relaxed state by focusing on your breathing and then invite you to let your imagination take over and explore things in a new way.

For example, therapeutic meditation can be beneficial for:

  • Connecting to inner wisdom about a decision or dilemma you are facing
  • Connecting to more confidence within yourself
  • Accessing states of calmness and serenity
  • Helping promote restful sleep

Although there are therapeutic benefits to this kind of session, this is not a therapy or counselling session. If you would like to use meditation and visualisation to access deep emotions, or process difficult experiences please contact me about looking at using meditation within the container of a full therapy session.

Types of meditation session available

Individual

I offer 30 minute sessions for one-to-one guided meditation and visualisation. We start with a short discussion around what you would like to use the session for and then do a 15-20 meditation together, and then spend the remainder of the session looking a little at what came up for you and how you found the experience. Each session costs £25 and can be accessed as a one-off or as a regular, or ad-hoc arrangement.

Group

I regularly host online group meditation and visualisation sessions, via zoom. I map these to the Wheel of the Year, which is an ancient, nature-based calendar marking significant points in the natural world through the year, including the Summer and Winter solstices and festivals such as Hallowe’en and May Day.
