Supervision

Let’s try and make it there together, on our own we may lose our way” ~ Fréya Eté

About supervision with me…

I offer one-to-one and group supervision, in person or via zoom. I am a Humanistic practitioner in my own therapeutic practice (person-centred, existential and embodied), and as such this is the modality I am best placed to supervise. Having taught counselling up to qualification level for 3 years I am experienced in supervising trainees. I work solidly within the BACP Ethical Framework and value the personal moral qualities therein of resilience, courage and autonomy – meaning you can expect to be supported and developed in every aspect of your work. I am passionate about care of the practitioner, and this deeply informs my supervisory work. In our sessions we will take time to explore your responses to your clients, what you and your clients most need and how your therapeutic relationship is. I believe that trust is fundamental to the success of a supervisory relationship and I am able to offer a relational focus to your work, as well as helping you link theory to practice.

I am proud to support the LGBTQ+ community as an ally 🏳️‍🌈

I offer a challenging, but well-held space in supervision, to give you time and insight into your client work. While the focus is ultimately always on the client, I am passionate about ensuring you, the counsellor, are safe, effective and fulfilled in your work.

Fees

I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation, via zoom, for us to meet and discuss your supervision needs, and establish if we both feel we could work well together.

If we decide to go ahead, I charge £60 per session (60 minutes). I can also offer 45 minute sessions (£45) and 90 minute sessions (£90). For group supervision this rate is divided equally between supervisees (minimum session length 90 minutes).

Please note I do not offer evening or weekend sessions.
